A Blessed, Joy Filled Christmas to All

“Love is the light and in the end, the only light- that can always illuminate a world grown dim and give us the courage to keep living and working. Love is possible, and we are able to practice love because we are created in the image and likeness of God. To experience love is to cause the Light of God to enter “into the world” Pope Benedict XVI, Deus Caritas Est (God is Love).

Christmas leads us to encounter Jesus, our Messiah to establish, to deepen, to renew our relationship with the Lord as we commemorate his birth and celebrate our life in Him. This Spirit is alive in the hearts and communities of Holy Cross and Blessed Sacrament Parishes!!

The Word, God, Love, has become flesh and continues to make His dwelling within us. May we continue to live the mystery of the Incarnation by making Him known in our loving one another.

In the eyes of the Christ child, in the miracle of the humble birth at the manger. In the star that lit all heaven, we see, we experience God’s love.

May that love fill the hearts of each member of our community, and as we experience love this Christmas, may we cause the Light of God to enter into the world. Be the light of God’s love for others. A Holy, Blessed Merry Christmas to all.
